Dirt devil vacuum cleaner-trouble vacuuming dirt and pet hair on carpeting -is the problem with the spinning brush which contacts the floor, not contacting the carpeting?? I thought (when I bought this vacuum) that the aforementioned brush was adjustable to various heights of carpeting. Sometimes, it seems like nothing is being vacuumed up -unless I have just put a new bag on the vacuum. Do I need or can I replace the spinning brush on the bottom of the vacuum so it kicks up and vacuums Try replacing the belt.
Rubber belts stretch out after about a year. After removing the filter, I cannot get to battery on the Dirt Devil Kone M0213, there are two horizontal screws. Removing them does not help getting to the battery, no way to remove the insert where the battery is located. We have two of these, however they did not come with a manual for dis-assembly.
Please help or proved a diagram on how to remove the battery. Many thanks, Wesley Lennon Sheesh, did anyone actually read the person's question?
It's about the battery, not the filter. 015 012 015 012You have to get the outer cover off and it's not easy. There are four tabs which need to be released. I have to use a very sha. I recently ( approx. 2-3 months ago ) purchased a dirt devil. Now it is not picking up properly.
When I push vacuum forward it picks dirt up a little bit, when I pull it back all the dirt falls out of the bottom. I replaced the filter today and it has not solved my problem. I dont know where my warranty is. Can you please help me? Hi sounds like your line is stopped up somewhere, check ur suction an make sure your brushes are spinning, if they are try a wire clothes hanger to the hose at the bottom hose to dislodge anything that mite be stuck.
We bought a new home in march. It is a brand new home, with brand new First Alarm smoke/CO detectors. The very first night, we noticed the iving room (main) smoke alarm was 'chirping'. So we tried to replace the batteries, but when we did, all of the smoke alarms started going off (they are hardwired). We took out the new battery & dealt with the chirp. It is getting to be too much.
So we are trying to fix it, but everytime we replace the batteries, the alarms are silent for a little bit, & then. I have a swivel sweeper, the original series, that is about one year old and is losing power.
The battery has been replaced but it still seems weaker than it used to be. The brushes do not turn as quickly and the overall pick-up is not as strong as it was when it was new. Any suggestions on how to get the power back up to what it once was? HiThank you for your queryI think what you will find is the base of the sweeper has 4 brushes, each of these brushes are run from a cog, if you can take the base apart you will find that it has been clogged up with hair and ot. Hoover Wind Tunnel U6458-900 Self Propel doesn't work - via other expert advice here for other models of Hoover - I'm thinking it is the actuator that needs to be replaced as I can see the cable does not connect to anything on the bottom. My problem is - I can't get the cover off. Been trying for a couple of hours. I removed every screw I can seem to find but something is hold it down.
I also am wondering if/when I do eventually get the cover off, would I need to replace the cable when I replac On some models there are hook/springs that hold the cover of the base snug.
